When should I RSVP by?

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Church-appropriate attire (dresses, suit/button up & tie) for ceremony, and bring and swimsuit & something warm for the reception!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There is not - but we recommend carpooling! We also highly recommend booking a place near Alameda if you are flying in before the 20th, and booking a different spot for the night of the 20th (ceremony & reception are about 1 hr from each other).

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We added some on the “Travel” page, but feel free to book wherever you want - including local Airbnbs/VRBOs. DO NOT leave anything in your car wherever you go!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive 15 minutes before the ceremony begins (10:45).

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of parking in the St. Joseph parking lot, and at the reception house.

Where is the reception?

Answer

The reception is at the Grand Villa, an Airbnb in San Jose, about 1 hr from St. Joseph’s.
