Our wedding venue is conveniently right across from Grand Central Station. This is is one of the most-visited destinations in NYC for a reason: history, architecture, dining, and shopping, all under one magnificent roof. One of our favorite spots here is the Oyster Bar!
Leo works in the One Vanderbilt building - which means he is right across the street from our wedding venue 4 days a week - when he is not out golfing of course ;) While this building is stunning itself, it is also the location of SUMMIT, which is an observation deck that blends elements of art, technology, architecture, and thrill!
You can not come to New York without having a bagel! Zucker's is well known and has many neighborhood bagels shops in Manhattan. Our favorite is an everything bagel with cream cheese and lox!
Bryant Park is Midtown Manhattan's town square, with seasonal gardens, eateries, bars, and just steps away from the New York Public Library. We went on an adventure date ice skating here and love the different food cart options. Pro tip: Bread's Bakery has some of the best chocolate chip cookies!
Most of our first dates were in the Chelsea Market area! The Tippler speakeasy, Museum of Illusions, Artechouse + trying different food options at Chelsea Market, walking the Highline, runs and picnics on the West Side Highway - this area is super special to us and has so much to offer. Leo even proposed on his rooftop in Chelsea <3
I guess we can't get away with not mentioning Times Square since our wedding is on 42nd street after all... Annie and Leo both grew up always going to the theatre and love going together - we all know how much Annie loves musicals ;) Leo always loved hosting New Year's Eve parties and from his old rooftop in Chelsea we got engaged at, you could almost see the ball drop at midnight!
