FAQs

Question

What if I can't make it? What if a guest can't?

Answer

You and/or your guest will be missed, but we completely understand. Please RSVP "no" as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Although we would love to offer extra plus ones and have everyone's children in attendance, we have a strict guest list to say in budget and to meet our venues restrictions. When you RSVP you will see your allotted guests. If you feel we have missed someone, please reach out to Jay or Annie directly. We appreciate your understanding and can't wait to celebrate with you.

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

While gifts are not expected, we have registered for a few items which can be found here on our website under the registry tab. You can also find our Honeymoon Fund and House Down Payment in the tab. We are registered with Target under Annie Browen and Jay Cheney. We are registered at Amazon at Amazon.com/wedding/share/cheneywedding102025

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We are calling it church casual. Nothing super fancy but perhaps not your gym clothes. We would love it if our guests wore fall colors to help us celebrate. Oranges, reds, olive greens, browns etc.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have included possible locations under the travel tab here on our website. Please contact Jay or Annie if you are needing any further details.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony? The reception?

Answer

The ceremony is set to begin at 4pm. You are welcome to begin arriving at 3:30pm. The reception is set to begin at approximately 5:30pm. You are welcome to attend our "cocktail hour" at 5pm.

Question

Is there an open bar? Can I bring my own alcohol?

Answer

We will not be having an open bar on our special day. Neither the groom nor the bride drink. We will, however, be having a pay by the drink bar for all of your drink needs. This will include alcohol, Pop, and water. Due to the venue's restriction, you will not be able to bring your own alcohol onto the premises.

Question

Can I smoke on the property?

Answer

There will be a designated smoking space at the venue. The bride and groom will be held liable for anyone caught smoking or vaping in a non designated space. Any fines will be kindly passed on to you or your guest if you decide to use a non designated space.
