FAQs

The Wedding Website of Forrest Kretchmer and Annie Cross
Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving by 10:30 AM at the latest to allow time for security and getting to the Fourth Floor Gallery. Our ceremony will begin promptly, and we would love for you to be there and settled beforehand!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’ve chosen to keep our wedding day small and intimate, so we are only able to accommodate guests who are listed on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding will be held at San Francisco City Hall, so we encourage cocktail or semi-formal attire. Feel free to dress up a bit, we’d love for it to feel special!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

San Francisco City Hall does not have on-site parking, but there are several parking garages nearby within a short walk. The Civic Center Garage (directly across the street) and Performing Arts Garage are the most convenient options. Street parking near City Hall is limited, so we recommend allowing extra time if you are driving. Parking in Mill Valley near Piatti is more accessible, with nearby parking lots and street parking available.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony so we can all be present in the moment. We promise to share plenty of photos afterward!

Question

What happens after the lunch?

Answer

After lunch, guests are free to enjoy the rest of the day. We will be gathering later that evening for drinks and would love to see you there!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Due to space limitations, our celebration will be adults only, with a few exceptions for immediate family. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Where should I go at City Hall?

Answer

Please enter through security and make your way to the Fourth Floor Gallery. If you’re unsure where to go, staff will be available to help guide you.

Question

How do I get to lunch in Mill Valley?

Answer

Guests are welcome to drive or use rideshare from San Francisco to Mill Valley. Travel time is typically 25-30 minutes, depending on traffic. We recommend allowing a little extra time to get settled before lunch.
