Rockaway Beach

Far Rockaway bound A Train to Beach 67th St station, Rockaway Beach, NY 11693

If you're up for a great day trip....ride public transit all the way to NYC's very own Rockaway Beach. Catch a Far Rockaway bound A Train to Beach 67th St station OR board the NYC Ferry to Rockaway at Wall St Pier in Manhattan. Once you're on the Rockaway Peninsula, follow the hipsters to the beach! The Rockaway community has two dockless bike share programs (Lime Bike and Pace Bike). Biking is the best way to get around the neighborhood during beach season. Destinations include: Rockaway Beach Bakery, Rockaway Beach Brewery, Rockaway Beach Surf Club, and Uma's restaurant. Concessions on the boardwalk offer a range of food and beverage options. If you're feeling adventurous, book a surf lesson with Locals Surf school, or visit local Irish bar Connolly's for a few 'frozens', the classic Rockaway summer drink.

For all the days along the way
