We declare matrimony!

Please arrive on time to the wedding as it will begin promptly at 4:15pm! Our venue has some strict policies in place, but don’t fret! There will still be lots of fun to be had. Please leave all weapons at home. You won’t be needing them. We will be fined a pretty penny if they find any on the property. Additionally, the venue is licensed only for wine and beer. All drinks will be provided by the venue. Please do not bring any flasks or hard alcohol as we will again be fined a pretty penny and they will stop our celebration immediately. Please don’t put a damper on our big day by breaking these rules. We would be v v sad.

Anyone who knows us, knows we both are a little obsessed with The Office. I took a trip to NYC a little before I met David. I posted a picture of me posing beneath a Sbarro sign (office nerds will know the reference), for one of my bumble profile pics (because dating in 2017 is hard in real life and I was hoping to find a diamond in the rough). My pickup line didn’t really impress him much (I’m no Shania Twain), but the picture did the trick! After two dates, David painted me some Office art which is proudly hung in our bedroom still. We continued to date and bond over our similar interests, but also in the fact that we both brought something new and different to the table to keep us on our toes. He kept the valet ticket stub from our first date, like the hopeless romantic he is, and later gifted me a blue tea pot with momentos like that stuffed inside. He introduced me to his sweet daughter, Elsie Mae, who has been my little Mae ever since. David was glad I could teach him a thing or two about children, while he taught me all about armiture bars and spring coils and scrubbing tubes. David is my perfect complement and makes me better. He brings out my sassy side, but we have grown together and learned how to bolster each other through the storms. We can’t wait to see what our future has in store, but love every moment of our life together.
