We first met way back in high school when I was 14 and Corbin was 16. He added me on Skype to ask if I was going out for golf that year. We spent that night and every night after that talking. Long story short, I ended up going out for golf that year.

We went on a vacation with a couple of our close friends to Hilton Head, South Carolina roughly a year after reuniting after spending a few years apart. The first morning we were there, Corbin woke me up bright and early at 5:30 am to see if I wanted to watch the sunrise. He had just gotten a GoPro and was excited to do a time-lapse of the sunrise. Little did I know he was actually setting the camera up to capture our proposal that morning. It ended up being quite the surprise to start the trip. We laugh about it now because we both have no idea what was actually said because we were so nervous and high on excitement.
