Denver is a good option for staying somewhere if you want plenty to do. Keep in mind that it is about a 45 minute drive to the venue without traffic. Neighborhoods to stay in that we recommend would be: Littleton, Highlands Ranch, or Centennial as these are further south and closer to the venue.
