What TIME ZONE will we be in?
Answer
We will be keeping with the local time zone, which is Eastern!
Question
What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Please plan on arriving 15 minutes or earlier prior to the ceremony start. The venue will be open for normal business hours prior to the ceremony if you’d like to check out Journeyman Distillery!

What is the dress code?
Answer
We can’t wait to dance the night away with our favorite people. Dress to impress in your best cocktail attire! What does this mean? For women – cocktail, long or midi-dress, pantsuit, or dressy separates. For men – suit and tie or sport coat and dress pants. The ceremony area is in grass, so you may want to keep this in mind when choosing footwear.

Will we be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Weather permitting, the ceremony will take place outside. Please enter Journeyman through the front entrance and make your way to the back outside space for the ceremony. Cocktail hour will be immediately following outside on the terrace. The reception will be held upstairs in Warren Hall (there is an elevator available for anyone needing assistance).

What will the weather be like?
Answer
While we can’t predict the weather, Fall in Southwest Michigan is usually very temperate. Most days are around 60 degrees and the evening temperatures drop to around 40 degrees.

How do I get to the wedding venue?
Answer
There will be a shuttle service provided with several pickup locations to transport guests from New Buffalo/Union Pier to the wedding. This same shuttle service will be available to transport guests home or to an after party location post reception. More details to come closer to the date.

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?
Answer
There is plenty of parking available at the wedding venue free of charge. There is parking right out front or there is a parking lot to the North of the building, right past the Acorn Theater.

Is Uber or Lyft available in Southwest Michigan?
Answer
Uber and Lyft are still making their way to Southwest Michigan. We would NOT recommend relying on Uber or Lyft to get you to and from the Wedding. There are some cab services you will be able to access. It is best to call cabs and let them know your plans for the evening ahead of when needed. "A Cab" (269) 586-4243 "A Call Away" (219) 214-0820

Are children Invited?
Answer
Due to the 21+ nature of our venue, we have to keep our wedding and reception an adult-only event with the exception of immediate family members in the wedding.
