Dear Friends & Family, We hope you all are doing well and staying safe! Although we are hopeful that the rollout of the vaccine will allow things to resemble a little bit more normalcy by this summer, we made the difficult decision to indefinitely postpone our wedding celebration. The restrictions in Sonoma, California have been slowly lifting, however, it does not appear that the regulations will allow a wedding reception by our rescheduled date of June 5, 2021. Although this year has been tough on us all, we appreciate all the love and support during our first year of marriage and look forward to celebrating with you in the near future! We met at Campus, a dive bar in the Marina District of San Francisco. Our mutual friends, Jackie and Bob Ruffing, were in town celebrating Bob's birthday, so the day was filled with bar hopping activities throughout San Francisco. We both felt an initial attraction, however, it wasn't until Annie messaged Jackie a few weeks after, asking if Chris was going to ask her out, that it set things in motion. Chris immediately reached out to set-up a date. Our first date was at the California Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park and was followed by a series of consecutive dates. Then, after five years of dating, three masters degrees, and living in two different cities, Chris and Annie got engaged at Golden Gate Park!
