Things To Do

We're so excited to share a few of our favorite things to do in the area!

Bolton Mountain

Bolton, VT 05477

Maybe goes without saying, but the mountain is a great spot for a hike and there is a fire tower at the top with an amazing view of the lake and the green mountains.

Bolton Valley Sports Center

Sports Club Drive, Richmond, VT 05477

At the mountain, all guests are allowed to use the sports center's pool, which is located right across from the hotel. A great place to cool off and get out of the August heat.

Stone Corral Brewery

83 Huntington Road, Richmond, VT 05477

One of our favorite spots, a local brewery with great food and beer! If you go, our recommendation is the sweet potato wedges with their hipster mayo, it's delicious.

Sweet Simone's

40 Bridge Street, Richmond, VT 05477

One of our favorite bakeries in Vermont! Delicious breakfast or lunch spot with homemade baked treats, coffee, and amazing sandwiches. We recommend a maple latte, since you are in Vermont you have to put maple in or on everything. ;)

James Moore Tavern

4302 Bolton Valley Access Road, BOLTON VALLEY, VT 05477

Right at the hotel, good food and beer selection! Their smash burger is our go-to after a day or night of skiing.

Bolton Potholes - Swimming Spot!

2712 Theodore Roosevelt Hwy, Bolton, VT 05676

Park at Smilie school which is at the base of the access road. Once you are there, you walk behind the school into the woods and you will come to the bottom of the falls. You can keep walking up the the falls on the sides if you want and there are a ton of little swimming holes and even some places to jump in if you are brave enough. If there is a ton of rain the week or days before then avoid this recommendation since the river will be too dangerous to swim in.

Stone's Throw Pizza & Wine - Richmond

39 Esplanade Street, Richmond, VT 05477

Wood fire pizza with some funky pizza toppings! A fun spot with lots of choices. Our favorite is the forager (White sauce, broccolini, mushroom blend, roasted garlic, shaved asiago, fresh sage). YUM!!

Prohibition Pig - Restaurant

23 South Main Street, Waterbury Village Historic District, VT 05676

Right in Waterbury center which is a charming Vermont town and a fun place to walk around. This brewery has awesome food and beer.

Waterbury Center

Waterbury Center, VT

Cute Vermont town with lots to do! Fun place to walk around and get food.

For all the days along the way
