Chase and Annie like to say their story started the way a lot of things do in a small town—by knowing of each other awhile before they actually knew each other. Annie worked at a local barbershop, and Chase would come in from time to time. What he didn’t know was that Annie had the biggest crush on him. In the back of her mind, she always thought maybe one day he’d be hers. One night Annie's sister, who was running a local brewery at the time, begged her to come out. She was perfectly content staying home, but Lindsey wouldn’t take no for an answer, so Annie finally gave in. The second she walked through the door, she spotted Chase out on the dance floor wearing a cowboy hat, and she remembers thinking… well, this night just got a whole lot better! They ended up dancing and having a good time, there wasn’t much time left before closing. Annie got his number from a friend, and the next morning she texted him and gave him a hard time about how he was feeling after all those dance moves the night before. That quickly turned into Chase meeting her that very same morning for some hair-of-the-dog drinks and brunch. From that point on, they were pretty much inseparable. Looking back now, it’s funny how something that started with a night out Annie almost skipped, a secret crush, and a cowboy hat on a dance floor turned into the beginning of something so special. Chase and Annie truly feel blessed to have found one another and to share the relationship that they do, and they're so excited for this next chapter of their lives. And if Annie's being honest, that cowboy hat definitely helped seal the deal… and he knows it. 🤠
