The Willamette Valley has over 700 wineries within 150 miles. Most of the wineries are family affairs and run with a sense of personalized curation. Ideal wine growing conditions occur between 30 degrees to 49 degrees. Both France and Oregon lay along the 45th parallel recognizing as the premier Pinot noir–producing areas in the world.
