The best is yet to come...

When we were 15 and 16, we met through our core group of friends at church. We connected immediately, built a friendship and like any teenagers, talked all day and all night. (some of our greatest memories). We made our relationship exclusive on 2/19/14 and have been together for 8 years!

On Thanksgiving day, we were on our way to visit my family for the evening when Brent stopped at one of our favorite spots since we were young, Peterswood lake. Being my stubborn self, I was reluctant to get out of the car as it was starting to rain, however Brent convinced me to take a walk with him for just a few moments before heading to my parents. We got out of the car and made our way down toward the lake. It was so quiet and peaceful... We were talking about all of the memories we had made each time we came to the lake since our early dating years. Brent assured me that no matter where we go, we would continue to make these memories together. Next thing I knew, he got down on his knee and asked me to marry him! So many emotions ran through me as I eagerly said "YES!!!". I was and am truly thankful for that peaceful and intimate moment with my best friend... and we are so excited to celebrate our love story with all of you on 10/22/22.
