Where is Wingina, Virginia?

Answer

Wingina is in Nelson County, Virginia, about an hour from both Charlottesville and Lynchburg and 2 hours from Richmond. Our wedding will take place on Annie's family's property, where her grandmother and parents live and where she grew up. We are excited to share this special place with our loved ones.

We are from out of town. Where should we stay?

Answer

Check out our suggestions in "Directions and Places to Stay". There are several Airbnbs, bed and breakfasts, and camping options in the area. Larger hotels are in Charlottesville, Lynchburg, and Farmville.

Should I use my GPS to get to Wingina?

Answer

We don't recommend it, especially if you're coming from Charlottesville or Lynchburg. The GPS tends to take you on narrow, curvy back roads. A music festival will also be taking place in the area, and some roads may be closed. Definitely follow the directions in "Directions and Places to Stay".

If your invitation includes "and Guest," then yes! If not, we would prefer if it was just you.

What should I wear?

Dressy casual, please. The ceremony and reception will be in a field, so we recommend comfortable shoes!
