Question

If I'm staying in an on-property cabin, what time can I arrive?

Answer

Any time on Friday (yes, even as early as sunrise!). If you're looking for a full lake day, come early. If you have to work come later. Just remember, if you're in the wedding party, the rehearsal starts at 3:30 on Friday and if you're staying locally, the welcome party starts at 6:45 at Autumn Lane! The rehearsal dinner will be taking place directly in front of the cabins, so we respectfully request that you try to arrive prior to 3:30 or after 6:30 if you are not part of the wedding party.

Question

If I'm staying in an on-property cabin the night of the rehearsal, what should I do from 3:30-6:45?

Answer

We kindly request that any guests staying on property find alternative plans from 3:30-6:45 to allow for the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner to take place. What do the cabins include?

Answer

If you're in a 1-bedroom, you will have 1 BR, a futon/couch, a kitchenette with a microwave, keurig, fridge and stove top, a bathroom and a screened in front porch that overlooks the pond. If you're in the two bedroom, you'll have 1 BR with a queen sized bed, a second bedroom with either bunk beds or a full bed and a queen sized pull out couch in the living room. The kitchenette and bathroom are the same as the 1 BR.

Can I bring my own drinks to have by the pool deck?

Answer

As of right now, Autumn Lane is working to get their liquor license for the food/drink bar next to the pool deck. If the license does not arrive in time for our event, then you will be able to bring your own drinks to the pool/upper deck. We only request that there be no glass bottles, so it may be helpful to get cans or bring a travel mug to make drinks in. If Autumn Lane DOES get their license in time, then all guests will be expected to purchase drinks from the food/drink bar during their open hours.

Can I use the lake while I'm there?

Answer

If you're an on guest property, you can absolutely use the lake access. Please see the image above for a map of the property to make sure you're accessing it correctly. It may be a bit confusing so don't be afraid to ask for help before venturing down. We recommend bringing pool floats or other water activities such as paddleboards if you'd like to use them while visiting the lake. If you're staying locally and not on property, feel free to reach out for information about local beach access - some properties will include them, but if yours does not, please let us know.

What is the attire for the wedding?

Answer

Welcome Party - Summer casual - flip flops are welcome! Wedding Reception - We recommend something light as the wedding is outdoors in July. We recommend staying away from stiletto shoes as the ceremony and reception will be in a grassy area. Wedges or flat shoes are encouraged. Please no jeans or t-shirts.

What if it rains on the day of the wedding?

Answer

The goal is to still have the ceremony outside rain or shine. If you don't want to ruin your dress clothes, toss on a bathing suit and a fun beach coverup!
