Tale as old as modern dating- we found each other on Bumble. I know, but all Annie saw was this goofy Colorado guy who was dive-certified and she was intrigued! August saw a girl who had similar interests and found her very down-to-earth about many topics. After talking for a while, we went on our first date- mini golfing at Boondocks! Annie was pretending she knew what she was doing and August, acting all confident, did his best to win and had a soft spot for jokingly teaching Annie how to putt a golf ball. After about an hour of goofing around, we weren’t ready for the date to end, so we went to Target to walk around. In the sock aisle, we met a couple who were enjoying some time together, and after talking they asked how long we had been married. We laughed and said it was our first date. Looking back though, we think that they knew what our future held for us even if they didn’t realize it. Now, after being an official couple for 610 days, and then being engaged for 566 days, we are getting married.
