Question

What is the suggested attire for the wedding/reception?

Answer

Mater Dei has a suggested attire of Sunday Best that promotes the reverence of the Latin Mass. More information about this is included in the attire section underneath the Wedding event on the Schedule tab at the top. Given the time gap between the wedding and the reception, we thought it would be fun to extend the option for people to go home and change into their best dancing clothes! Whether this means more comfortable shoes, a different dress, or a bolo tie feel free to get comfortable for the night's festivities.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

As soon as you can! This lets us know if we can expect you and if we should be planning to feed you! Clayton has already taken back every single time he has complained about people reminding him to RSVP to weddings.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! Click the tab at the top where it says Registry!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your RSVP option references a Plus 1 feel free to bring or not bring a date!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please indicate your food restrictions when you RSVP to the reception and we will try to accomodate you as possible. It will be clear at the event which options conflict with any food allergy notes that we have received.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

YES! We strongly believe that kids should be fully welcome at weddings. The church is very welcoming of families and provides a cry room with a stream of the mass and wedding, but also understands if children simply need to be given some attention within the church. If you have children they are welcome! Children will have lots of space to run free at the wedding venue where we will also have babysitters available if parents want to kick back and relax.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Both Mater Dei and Roadrunner Ranch have plentiful parking for the size event we are hosting. It is worth noting that Ubering (note no cell reception at the venue) or carpooling to Roadrunner Ranch could simplify things, as it is not the shortest drive out there.

Question

I see that the couple didn't register for _______ (ex: Clayton didn't register for any weights), why is that?

Answer

Very perceptive appreciated guest! Zola actually doesn't do a perfect job of letting you add Rogue Deep Dish Weight Plates, especially when you're trying to add the 100 pound pair. In all seriousness, if you have any deep desire to gift the couple something not on the registry, feel free to use it as a source for ideas!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Hotel recommendations are available on the "Travel" tab of this website, However, if you prefer any other accommodations remember to note the relative distance to both the church and the venue.

Question

I am sadly unable to make it to the Wedding/Reception, is that okay/how should I let you know?

Answer

While we would love for everyone invited to make it to both the wedding at Mater Dei as well as the reception at Roadrunner Ranch afterwards, we understand that people's specific circumstances can make this difficult. If you cannot make it to either the wedding or the reception, simply denote this in your RSVP and enjoy yourself at the event you can make it to!
