Things To Do

Here are a few things in the Golden area that we love! And a few farther adventures that are great.
Downtown Golden

Downtown Golden

Washington Avenue, Golden, CO 80401
, (303) 384-8080

This is where the reception is! Explore the path along Clear Creek, the cute little shops on Washington Ave. and the breweries scattered through town - Mountain Toad, Golden City Brewing, Barrels and Bottles or take a tour at Coors Brewery.

New Terrain Brewing Company

New Terrain Brewing Company

16401 Table Mountain Parkway, Golden, CO 80403
, (720) 697-7848

One of our favorite breweries. It sits right next to North Table Mountain, a great place to go for a hike and get some views from the top of the mesa. It has a huge outdoor patio, food trucks and sometimes live music. It does get busy, but for good reason!

Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre

Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre

18300 West Alameda Parkway, Morrison, CO 80465
, (720) 865-2494

If you've never been to Red Rocks, you must check out the amphitheater! There are also some hikes from the amphitheater winding through the rocks... that are red.

Lookout Mountain Park

Lookout Mountain Park

987 Lookout Mountain Road, Golden, CO 80401
, (720) 865-0900

This is a great place to get some mountain views without having to go very far! It also has the Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave. You may see a number of cyclists biking up the winding road.

Dakota Ridge Hike

Dakota Ridge Hike

Stegosaurus Lot, State Hwy 26, Golden, CO 80401

Check out the Dakota Ridge hike before the Welcome Drinks! It provides great views into Red Rocks and is close to Golden. This is also a popular mountain bike trail, keep your eyes open!

Golden Gate Canyon State Park

Golden Gate Canyon State Park

92 Crawford Gulch Road, Golden, CO 80403
, (303) 582-3707

Another great area to go hiking. It should perfect timing to catch the aspens changing color! The hike Blue Grouse to Mule Deer is an easy 4 miles with tons of aspens. Panorama Point is a good spot for great views with no effort.

For all the days along the way
