Congaree National Park
Sam loves any opportunity to get outdoors and enjoy some fresh air, and Congaree is one of the best places around. With its beautiful scenery and unique woodlands, he’s enjoyed exploring it both when he was younger visiting Nana and Papa for “summer camp” and now. You’ll have to ask us about the pictures we got while out “birding”!
Soda City Market
This is one of AG’s favorite ways to spend a fall Saturday morning. Downtown fills with tents offering food, crafts, and more! It is perfect for strolling and people-watching! *Only on Saturdays
Riverbanks Zoo & Garden
This is a very special place for both of us, because it’s where we went on our first date! What started as a simple afternoon together quickly became something we’ll always treasure. If you visit, be sure to check out the penguin exhibit... it’s nearly impossible not to fall in love there!
The Gourmet Shop
This is one of AG’s favorite places to grab brunch or to find the perfect gift for someone. The food is delicious, and there’s so much to browse in the market side while you wait for your table!
West Columbia
This is where Sam and AG first met—well, technically saw each other for the third time, but it’s where they really started getting to know each other before dating! It was at a concert in West Columbia, and the rest is history. They’ve made so many good memories in this area since then, from that first concert to meeting AG’s nephew and niece at the hospital, grabbing food at Maurice’s Piggie Park, and enjoying the atmosphere at Savage Craft.
