We can't wait to celebrate!

Annemarie threw a shared 17th birthday party at the Almaden Cabana Club with bridesmaids Kaela and Sabrina. Earlier that summer, Kaela and Sabrina had attended a trip to Nicaragua and met some very intriguing Bellarmine boys. It was decided that these boys- including Will and groomsmen Kyle and Matt- were warranted an invitation to the party. Annemarie was smitten by Will's Oakley sunglasses, and he by her sense of humor. We have been side by side ever since.

Will and Annemarie visited Maui last February for a much needed vacation. After visiting Kula, the town where Annemarie's extended family grew up, we began a drive along the Road to Hana. For our first stop on the drive, we picked a stream to hike along and started exploring. As a storm broke above us, Will proposed to Annemarie in the middle of the stream. The rest of the day was filled with smiles and memories for a lifetime. On the way to dinner the following night, we ran into four familiar faces on the beach: Dia, Sal, Kerri, and Todd had joined us on Maui as a final surprise orchestrated by Will. Lots of laughter, love, and excitement for our future. Let's do this!
