Question
Which events are kids encouraged to attend?
Answer
We'd love to see your kids at the Friday night gathering at the Westbrae Biergarten, Field Day on Saturday morning, and if you are dropping by our house on Sunday morning. If at all possible, leave kids with a babysitter for the Dance Party on Saturday evening, but if this is not a possibility, kids are welcome to join us there too!

Do I really need to RSVP to every event?
Answer
Yeah.... we know it's a bother to have to click buttons so many times, but we'd love to plan enough food and drinks so yes. Most important is that we know your participations for Field Day and Dance Party on Saturday. You can text us for Friday and Sunday even last minute if you do decide to pop by. If you know you are coming for sure RSVP away and we'll make sure we have enough coffee!

Please RSVP by end of February! This way we can get our caterer and event space enough notice.

Can I bring something to Field Day?
Answer
Yes! If if you are coming in your own car and can commit to bringing a cooler full of drinks, fruit, or snacks of your choosing it would be greatly appreciated. We've made some suggestions on the attached spreadsheet, but please feel free to adjust as you wish. There is also an additional tab with a place to put your name down if you are coming from out of town and would like to help coordinating a ride up to Tilden for the picnic. Lawn chairs, blankets to sit on and favorite outdoor games/activities also welcome. How should I dress for Field Day?
Answer
If you are coming to play, wear shoes and clothes you can run and jump in and don't mind getting down and dirty! Otherwise, wear whatever you like for a park day, but bring layers. This part of California is often chilly in the shade.

What does "festive attire" mean?
Answer
On Saturday night we'd love to see you in whatever attire you feel festive in! Ben and I might dress up a bit and I'll be in my dancing shoes for sure. If festive for you means a unicorn onesie and your favorite wig or your best bowtie and dress pants then wear that! Just be ready to party!

What's the best way to get to the Alice Collective on Sat eve?
Answer
The venue is in Downtown Oakland, and we highly suggest getting a Lyft or Uber if you plan to have some drinks. If you plan on driving, the neighborhood is pretty quiet at night and looks kind of rough. If you feel uncomfortable feel free to call Ben and he will come escort you into the venue. He is super tough!

Umm...no. Sunday morning is for hugs, high fives and COFFEE. We'll have plenty of coffee.
