FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Attire is formal and semi-formal/cocktail. In order to avoid matching the bride or matron of honor, please refrain from wearing white or olive-green dresses. The ceremony will take place in an outdoor garden with grass and stairs, and the reception will take place in a 1909 barn, so we recommend nice shoes you will be comfortable in on uneven terrain. The barn will have heaters, but we recommend wearing a coat or shawl just in case.

Question

Can I bring a plus one? Are my children invited?

Answer

The venue is strictly limited to 150 seats due to space constraints, so only those individuals specifically named on your invitation will be able to attend. If we have openings due to family members or close friends that cannot make it, we may be able to open up a few seats for plus-ones; please check with the bride or groom prior to the week of the wedding to see if any spots have opened up to bring a plus-one or any additional guests. Please do not bring anyone, including children, unless their name was listed on your invite, or they will not have a place to sit and our venue may fine us for exceeding the 150 person limit.

Question

Can I smoke/vape?

Answer

There is a designated area at the venue for smoking/vaping. Any smoking or vaping outside of the designated area may result in a fine from the venue.

Question

Can I bring my own food or alcohol?

Answer

The venue does not allow any food not prepared by the licensed caterer. Additionally, any outside alcohol is strictly forbidden by the venue and local laws. The venue has a hired bartender and any and all alcohol at the wedding must be served by them. Please no outside alcohol/flasks or the venue will charge us a hefty fine. We will have an open bar with many drink options for guests to enjoy.
