Zach and I met at Chestnut Lanes bowling alley in Barnesville, Ohio. Most people that know Zach know that he has been bowling pretty much his whole life at many different places. Most people that know me also know that I have been bowling pretty much my whole life as well. We had NEVER crossed paths until November of 2024. Crazy right? He ended up subbing in one of my regular leagues. I had heard good things about him and that he was a pretty good bowler. He was a lot better than me lol. We didn't talk much that night, so I didn't think anything of it at the time. The following Monday he ended up subbing on my Monday night team. We talked a lot that night. I had asked a mutual friend for his number the following day and we have been inseparable ever since. Some people may say that a year is not a long enough time to get to know someone. I beg to differ. Zach came into my life when everything was falling apart, and he never blinked an eye. He was there for me every minute of every day even when we weren't dating. I knew in those moments that this was the man I was going to spend the rest of my life with. We have spent the last year bowling, going to concerts, and spending as much time as we can with each other. Our first date was actually the Oglebay Festival of Lights, so it was only fitting that he got down on one knee at Oglebay park on 09/28/25. He even had some of my best friends there to take pictures and set up my beautiful proposal. Thank you for everyone that has been more than supportive of us from day one!
