We met at work at Norwegian Cruise Line back in July 2017. Annie was already working in their Finance department, and shortly after Anton started in the same department. A couple of weeks after Anton started, Annie decided to ask Anton to lunch. Yes, Annie asked Anton out first.

Just a few months after going on several dates, they went out to one of their favorite wine bars in Miami, Lagniappe and Anton decided to make things official and asked Annie to be his girlfriend.

Even though the professional world had no idea they were dating, Anton wanted to go to Barcelona for a week on vacation, and Annie decided to join as well. First trip together was international to one of the most beautiful cities where they explored every inch of Barcelona from the various sites of Antoni Gaudi, to the famous Camp Nou, and even sailed the Mediterranean while indulging in sangria and paella.

After working side by side for 2 years at NCL, they were sent home due to the pandemic for the following 2 years. In the middle of all this chaos, Anton decided it was the perfect time to really make things official. In February of 2020, they decided to spend Valentine's weekend in the Keys, just to get out of the house and change the scenery. The first night of their little getaway, they left after work on Friday to the Keys, and Anton made reservations at a nice French restaurant called Pierre's. They were supposed to leave early and be in the keys by 6pm to watch the sunset, but things didn't quite work out that way. However, even though everything did not work out as planned, it all worked out perfectly. They finally made it to the restaurant, they granted their reservation even though they were late, and when the restaurant finally cleared out, they were the last ones there and it was the most perfect, intimate moment for the proposal.
