Our story began in College Station, Texas, back in 2013. The aggies had just lost and Blake was in no mood for anyone... then came Anneliese walking into Mad Hatters (bar on Northgate). With Blake not being in the mood to flirt, I had to get creative and steal his hat to get his attention. But hey, can you blame me?! That night was a blast, but we both saw it as a fun evening, but didn’t plan on seeing each other again. I went back to Houston, where I worked as a hairdresser for Therapy Hair Studio and Blake was working on finishing his Bachelors of Science & Ag degree at Texas A&M. Thanks to all of our friends, we would meet up again multiple times through out Aggie football season. Little did we know, we wouldn’t speak again for another whole year. Until January 19, 2017, my birthday. I got a text from a number that I had not seen in a long time. It was from Blake! He had just moved to Houston, and asked me out to dinner. I tried to play hard to get, but of course, I said yes, and I’m so glad I did. We have been inseparable ever since! God’s timing was perfect. We’ve had 5 years of countless memories now, time flies when you’re having fun! From little road trips around Texas, to traveling all the way to Canada, Mexico, New York and many more, my travel buddy and I have had a blast. But those experiences don’t even compare to buying our first home together, and seeing Blake love Leo as his own pup to start growing our little family. Little did I know, on our most recent trip to Belize, Blake popped the question! Of course, I was speechless and in tears! We can’t wait for this exciting new chapter in our lives, and we are blessed to share this experience with our friends and family!
