We ask that you let us know whether or not you will be attending by July 28, 2021. You can do this by mailing back the RVSP card, or by responding via our website by doing to the "RSVP" page.
We love your kids-- we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! Please reach out if you need help finding a babysitter, especially if you are coming from out of town. We would be happy to help.
We have booked hotel room blocks at two nearby hotels. Visit our "Travel" page to learn more and to book your stay through our booking link. We are encouraging people to book at one of these hotels, but you're more than welcome to make your own accommodations.
Yes, and we need to know ahead of time so that we can make sure they are fed. Please make sure to note the number of attendees when you RSVP. We can't wait to meet them if we haven't already!
We have arranged 2 sets of shuttles: 1) To take guests to and from the hotels and the venue and, 2) To take guests from the reception to either the after-party or back to the hotel. If you are not staying at either one of these hotels, you will need to make plans for transportation either to the hotel or to the venue directly. We would recommend booking a Lyft or Uber in advance (a day or so before) since we are outside of downtown Denver and there will be less of these immediately available. You can also choose to drive yourself and park at the venue, however we ask guests to be safe and make plans to have a designated sober driver.
We are planning a Welcome Party for Friday night and will update this FAQ answer, and the "Schedule" page of this website, when we know more. We are also planning a Sunday morning breakfast/brunch send-off.
Our wedding ceremony is outdoors in a garden. As such, we have listed the attire as "garden attire". We agree with the Internet as it says that this means to "wear sundresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues, and fun hats and fascinators," which sounds glorious. Wedges or flats are recommended since the ceremony is in a grassy field.
Our wedding dinner menu will include gluten-free and vegetarian options and you will be able to customize. Please reach out if you have a specific question so that we can confirm that we can accommodate.
We have booked room blocks at 2 nearby hotels and we recommend staying there but we also understand that people like to have a whole place to themselves, too. Pickings are a little slim in the Littleton/Chatfield locale but there are many options close to Denver. Remember, we're providing shuttle service to both the wedding venue and after-party. The standards of Airbnb or VRBO are your best bet.
Colorado weather has a well-earned reputation for changing quickly and drastically. That being said, late August weather will be mostly sunny, windy on occasion and the temperature will vary from 60s in the morning to 80s during the day and back down to the 60s at night. It's quite lovely if it doesn't hail.
Yes you can! We encourage everyone to take a stroll around the Gardens (at Chatfield Farms) well ahead of the ceremony. It's free of charge on the day-of and we strongly recommend the Butterfly house and the Hildebrand Ranch, both on-site.
