It was the summer of 2021 and we were both looking for a new church. Matt had just moved to Somerville for a new job and I had moved there a few months prior also for a new job. We both happened to pick City on a Hill Somerville to try out for the first time on the same day. Matt sat behind me and the classic "turn to greet your neighbor" moment happened. We continued to sit near each other over the next couple of weeks and chatted after church until Matt asked me out for coffee or tea. I gave Matt my number but unfortunately I never got his text as my phone broke. Luckily a few days later when I got a new phone set up I got a follow up text from Matt! We went out the following Sunday and the rest is history! We are so grateful to the Lord for bringing us together that day and for His faithfulness to us. We are so excited to celebrate with you all and start our lives together!
