Where is the reception?

Our reception will be held at The National Aviary in Pittsburgh. The address is 700 Arch Street, Pittsburgh PA 15212. Our Cocktail hour will begin at 6:00PM

Are kids invited?

Answer

Yes! Kids are invited to both the ceremony and reception. If your child is under 12 and would prefer a kids meal, please let us know privately. If you would prefer an adult evening, please contact Anneke for babysitting recommendations.

What is the dress code?

Formal wedding attire but no tuxedos! Think suits and cocktail dresses!

Is there Parking at the Church?

Answer

Parking Instructions: Please allow plenty of time to locate the church and to park. Oakland is often busy on Saturday afternoons. The Church of the Ascension is located at the corner of Ellsworth and Neville in Oakland. The address for obtaining directions is 4729 Ellsworth Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15213. There is limited parking adjacent to the church at the Neville entrance. There is ample parking in the Oakland Catholic parking lot across the street on Neville. That parking lot may be accessed one block over on Craig Street. Guests may be dropped off at the Neville or Ellsworth entrance. Look for the gold balloons.
