O'Hare International Airport is ideal, as it is only a blue-line train into the city - and to our hood! It's about 1 - 1.25 hours from Sycamore, so a car rental is important if you're heading straight to the wedding or hotel from there.

Midway Airport is the hub for Southwest Airlines, and is about a 1.25-1.5 hour drive to Sycamore. If you plan to stay in the city a bit before the wedding, hop on the Orange Line or take a ride share to wherever you'd like to be. You will need a rental car to get to Sycamore the day of the wedding.

Quality Inn

This is the wedding party hotel. There is a pool, fitness room, and a breakfast area that are available for socially distanced use. The reservation block includes single king rooms and double queen rooms for 70/night. Just let them know you're part of the Iverson-Dougan wedding. Last day to book is 7/27/20!

Train

CTA

Chicago Transit Authority is the official name of the train and bus systems in Chicago. Trains are named for colors, and they all end up downtown in what is called The Loop. Buses are numbered and operate North-South and East-West every half mile or so. We live on the Blue Line at the Belmont stop! Most of our recommended restaurants are at the the Logan Square stop. If you select the public transit option on your usual phone map app, it will tell you all you need to know.
