We met the night after July 4th at a bar in the neighborhood -- the Marlton Hotel -- after having been introduced online. The conversation flowed so easily that it asked for another bar and another cocktail. We walked around the Village, a place so familiar to us as individuals, with a new perspective. Towards the end of the night we both thought, "This could be something!" After a kiss goodnight, it was certain there would be.

We were at the Parker Hotel in Palm Springs for a short getaway and had dinner reservations that night. While Anne was getting ready, Tim made an excuse to run a quick errand. He came back with two martinis in hand and told her that they were just "ceremonial". He took her hand to the balcony overlooking the garden and got on one knee. Anne said "Yes!", and they were engaged.

We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you! While we are sorting out many of the details of the wedding, we have confirmed Cop Cot in Central Park for the ceremony and Le Bernardin for the dinner/reception. We'll have more information as we confirm venues, activities, and such!
