The official dress code is cocktail attire. Cocktail is more formal than semi-formal, but it is one step less formal than black tie. Our wedding is in the summer, so you are more than welcome to wear outfits with florals, colors and patterns. We have a website below that provides photos of cocktail attire that guests may use as a reference if they wish. The website is just for potential inspiration rather than a restriction. https://www.theknot.com/content/cocktail-wedding-attire
The baraat for the Indian ceremony will take place outdoors. Both ceremonies, the cocktail hour and the reception will all take place indoors.
Woburn (really, the Greater Boston area) will most likely have reasonable temperatures and sun. June is the beginning of summer, so it should not be extremely muggy nor extremely cold. The average temperature at this time of year, according to various sources, is around a high of 78°F with a low of 55°F (26°C, 13°C). Most of the wedding day events will be indoors. However, if it rains during the baraat, there is an alternate route in which the wedding party and guests will be covered.
Yes, there is plenty of parking available at the venue. The hotel has multiple lots on site.
Our wedding is child-friendly! Invites and RSVPs will include exact guest counts.
At the cocktail hour, we will have appetizers on the table and there will be approximately 4-5 different choices of appetizers that will be provided by servers rotating around tables. The reception will have a buffet style dinner. It will include vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. There will be alcoholic and non-alcoholic options for drinks.
With your invitation, you are able to indicate any dietary restrictions and allergies. You can also edit your invitation if you forget to indicate anything, but please be respectful of the RSVP deadline. If there is an issue, please reach out to us.
Absolutely. We will have plenty of alcoholic and non-alcoholic options for everyone.
There is a link on your invitations, and there is a tab on our website where you can book a hotel room. Please feel free to contact us if you are unable to access the link.
We ask that you in general refrain from taking pictures of the ceremony as we will have a photographer and videographer. There will be certain times when we will allow for photographs.
The best way to RSVP is through your invitation that will be emailed to you. We receive an alert when guests have sent their RSVP. Our website also has a feature that will send out a reminder email to RSVP and it will share when the RSVP deadline is/how much longer you have until the deadline.
We are very excited to have you all at our event, but the RSVP deadline is very strict. Since we have a variety of dietary needs with our guests, it is very important that our caterers are able to get an exact count. The deadline to RSVP is May 11, 2021. We will send out reminders to RSVP. If you do not RSVP within a reasonable timeframe, you will be marked as not attending.
Unfortunately, we will not have a virtual wedding celebration. With how many guests we have, this would be tricky to pull off.
We ask that you please not bring boxed gifts to the reception. There will be opportunities to send or give us any boxed gifts directly before the reception. There will be a table where people can place envelopes with cash. Some guests are more comfortable with giving a gift from a registry, and some guests are more comfortable with giving cash, so this is how we are making things work.

For everyone’s health and safety, we do ask that guests, who are eligible, are fully vaccinated (including the booster) as we have guests who are immunocompromised. We will be following Massachusetts health and safety measures when the time comes and our website will have updates.
We will have multiple mediums of communication. However, the form of communication that will most likely be updated the fastest is our website.
Please look through the FAQs and our website in general to make sure there isn’t already an answer to your question before contacting us. Otherwise, the best way to contact us would be through emailing us at annenirajwedding@gmail.com.
