We are so excited to see you in just a few short days for our wedding! We are asking that you wear a face mask during the ceremony and in line to get dinner. Please be mindful and courteous of others. We have placed seating during the reception as far apart as possible to accommodate social distancing precautions. Also! You will find hand sanitizing stations throughout the venue and we ask that you use it whenever you see one! We are so excited to see you and appreciative of your understanding and cooperation.
We met the summer going into our 8th grade year on a mission trip to downtown Austin. Anne was on a team with Micah's sister, Ramie, and met over a milk-less bowl of fruit loops and breakfast. From then we were friends, in the same friend group at church. In high school, Micah decided to make the move to public school (praise the Lord). Freshman year when Anne got moved up to JV volleyball she just so happened to be moved into the same english class as Micah. Still remaining friends, Anne had a crush on Micah. The years went on and our friendship developed until one summer before our junior year. Our friend group decided to plan a hike and then all bale on us the last minute purposefully getting us to hang out alone. That began the first hike of many to come, for a couple of months we hiked, watched movies and played frisbee golf together. Then on October 15, 2014 Micah asked Anne to be his girlfriend. Fast forward to January 20, 2020 Micah asked Anne to be his wife. We are so thankful to God for everything He has done in our lives individually and together. We would not be here today without Jesus and what He has done for us, we are a new creation and we have both learned to love and forgive each other in the hardest of times because we have a Heavenly Father who has done the same. These past 5 years have been filled with joy, sorrow, laughter, love and the most importantly Jesus.
