Getting to Anna Maria Island:
The closest airports are Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) and Tampa International Airport (TPA). Ubers and Lyfts are available to and from the island for those who do not want to rent vehicles. For return trips to the airport, we recommend scheduling your rideshare in advance and allowing extra time, as traffic leaving the island can occasionally cause delays.

Anna Maria Island Trolley - The free Anna Maria Island trolley is an easy way to get around the island without a vehicle. There are three trolleys that run daily from 6:00am-10:30pm. Download the myStop app to track the trolleys. The Monkey Bus - $5 per person rides anywhere on the island or just over the bridges off the island. Call 941-565-6542 to schedule a ride anytime from 12pm - 3am daily. Golf Cart Rentals - Golf carts are street legal in AMI and another fun way to get around the island. We recommend renting from Fun and More. NOTE: If you are planning to rent a vehicle or golf cart, you must park in the same direction as traffic with all 4 tires COMPLETELY off pavement. They like to give parking tickets!
