The site of ice skating in the winter and $5 concerts on summer Friday nights, Lock 3 sits along the Erie Canal that is the reason for Akron's existence. Stroll or bike along the towpath trail, sit in the sun, and if you get hungry head across the street to Lockview Restaurant- home of the gourmet grilled cheese and the site of Anne and John's first date.

Home of Akron's minor league baseball team, the fearsome Rubber Ducks! They have home games Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. No need to plan ahead- if you're craving beer and a ballpark dog you can always snag a ticket right at the entrance.
