We're so excited to celebrate with you!

So, it all started with a toaster. I got her a toaster because she told me she toasted her bagels on the stove, who does that?! But who would have ever thought that, that would be the reason why I got her attention. However, it did not work out as easy as you would think it did. After months of chasing her, she finally agreed to be my girlfriend. Not too soon after, I knew she was the one for me. Now let’s fast forward to August 3, 2019. I knew I wanted to do something really special for her and that she wanted all her close family and friends there to celebrate our special moment. However, she had no idea what was in store for her. I took her on a romantic dinner date followed by a helicopter tour of Philadelphia. As she stepped out of the helicopter, she saw everyone she cared about as I got on one knee and asked her to be my forever. Her saying yes, was the happiest moment in my life.

I had recently moved to Connecticut to work where I didn't have many family or friends nearby. I decided to join an Indian dating app called "Dil Mil" since I heard a lot about the success stories. After matching, I messaged him first thinking "what do I have to lose?" He messaged me back right away and there started our long distance connection from Philly to Connecticut. We talked for hours on the phone like we've known each other forever. A month later we decided to meet up. He walked out of his car to meet me with the biggest, most genuine smile on his face. After that meeting, we met up more often to get to know each other better. Let’s just say I’m not the easiest person to have a breakthrough with. However, Joel was very patient and persistent. I knew he was the one for me once my goals and dreams started to change from “I” to “We” without even realizing. Afterwards, I moved to Philly to be closer to Joel. We became inseparable and he became my other half naturally. The rest is history. Joel makes me a better, kinder, and more sensitive person. He loves me despite all my flaws, weaknesses and imperfections. He treats me like a queen every day. I always prided myself to be a very independent individual who "didn't need someone" to complete me. Well, that is how I thought until I met Joel. He is my forever future and I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with him.
