Weather permitting, our ceremony will be held beach-side. With reception to follow, it will be a covered outdoor venue facing the water.
Since SETIR is located on a private island, the closest airport is Busuanga Airport, also know as Francisco B. Reyes Airport (USU). It is the main airport serving the general area of Coron and will be where we can arrange transfer to and from.
Yes! Transportation is included to and from Busuanga Airport arranged by the hotel. About 6 months prior to the event, we will get a final head count and arrange a transfer for those who can make it. Please be advised the venue is about an hour and a half travel time from the airport to the resort. This includes an hour ride to the port and a 30 minute boat transfer to the island.
The dress code for our wedding is formal attire. Our only request is that you please do not wear white.
Do not forget your passports! Please double check and make sure your passport does not expire before June 2026 as you will not be permitted to travel within 6 months remaining of the expiration date.
SETIR (Sunlight Eco-Tourism Island Resort) is a private island that you have to access by boat. There are no other hotels in the island, so we recommend that you stay at the resort the night of the wedding. In addition, we know that prices are a bit higher. With being our guest, you can get 30% off the published rate per night.
As much as we would love to share this special day with everyone, at this time we are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guests list just to those who are special to us to keep it intimate. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated. For children, we love the little ones but would like to keep this event running as smoothly as possible. We will accommodate kids listed in your invitation unless stated otherwise.
