Things To Do

There are lots of things to do in Natchez if you're coming for the weekend. They range from touring antebellum mansions like Longwood (http://www.stantonhall.com/longwood.php), the largest octagonal residence in the U.S., to tastings at Old South Winery (http://www.oldsouthwinery.com/). Message or email us for maps. A few more:
♥ Natchez in Historic Photographs is an excellent exhibit. https://www.visitnatchez.org/business/natchez-in-historic-photographs
♥ Carriage rides are available to tour the historic areas in and around downtown Natchez. Just take the stories you hear from the drivers with a grain of salt. They "embellish" things. Catch one at the corner of Canal Street and State Street in front of the old train depot.
♥ Natchez City Cemetery - sounds strange, but interesting! https://www.natchez.ms.us/263/Cemetery-Tours
♥ Take a walk on the riverfront. There are nice, well kept (sometimes steep) walking paths along the bluff and down to the river.
