Chris and Anne met on the church softball team. Chris played shortstop and Anne played 2nd base. Neither one of us talked to each other for about 2 games but we both noticed each other. On game three the play came to Chris at shortstop and a double play was at stake, he threw the ball low and hard from about 15 feet away, hitting Anne in the knee cap and a popping sound that made folks in the stands cringe, taking her down. "she should of caught the ball" says Chris.... ultimately Anne was fine and Chris went for ice. When he brought the ice back Anne could not help but look into his big blue eyes and melt. Of Course Anne didn't let him know that. A little flirting both ways occurred and then we went on a first date. Anne decided we should just be friends, Chris didn't take no for an answer and continued to pursue Anne with her holding strong. Fast forward 10 months later where we saw each other at stagecoach 4/29/2018 and that was the night everything changed! We started to date and enjoying activities together, volleyball, hiking, softball and Anne with her bad ass self dragged Chris to the gym and suckered him into doing Spartan races (which he enjoyed). On a cold 5 AM morning at the gym Anne blurted out an "I Love You" surprising her more then anyone else. Chris already knew he loved her so it was a easy "I Love You TOO". This brings us to where we are now. Marrying your best friend is easy, it just took us both awhile to find each other!
