Flight
For those of you flying into town and not being picked up by family or friends in the area, we would suggest taking the light rail into downtown from the airport, as this is a convenient and inexpensive option. Otherwise, taking an Uber or Lyft from the airport to your hotel would be the easiest/most comfortable option! If you have any questions about traveling around the Twin Cities please feel free to reach out to us!
Hotel
We do not have a block of rooms booked at any hotels, as we know that hotel choice is a very personal one. Instead, below we've listed a few different recommendations for hotels we know and love around our venue.
Hotel
The Hewing Hotel is wonderful and within walking distance of our venue! It is situated in the heart of the North Loop and if you are looking for a great weekend away this is a wonderful option! It is definitely the priciest option at around $300 a night.
Hotel
Hotel Alma is a boutique hotel that is situated directly above one of the best restaurants in Minneapolis and it is located in our neighborhood. It is a quick and cheap Uber to the venue and there is always street parking available. It tends to be around $170 a night.
Hotel
This is our #1 preferred option if you are traveling in from out of town and you want somewhere easy, clean, and convenient. The Hampton Inn and Suites- University is a 5-10 minute Uber/Lyft to our venue, it has free parking and free breakfast and it is located just past the University of Minnesota Campus. It ranges from $100-120 a night.
Hotel
The AC is new, modern, and right in the heart of downtown. If you're looking to go out that weekend it is a short 2 minute walk to some of the most popular bars and restaurants downtown. It is a 15 minute walk from our venue and it is a 4 minute Uber (less than 1 mile). They tend to be around $145 a night but they have the option to book a room, self park (it is normally additional $), and breakfast for around $20 more a night and it is more than worth it.
