Traveling to Cartagena

AEROPUERTO INTERNACIONAL RAFAEL NUÑEZ (CTG) FLIGHT As April is a popular month to travel and our wedding falls at the end Spring break, we recommend booking your flights as early as possible. There are direct flights from the US to CTG from NYC, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, etc. Popular carriers are Jetblue, Copa Airlines, American Airlines and Avianca.

Whether your preference is a private pool, modern décor, free breakfast, or space for an after party, there are houses, apartments, and boutique hotels to meet all of your needs.  Our only recommendation is to stay in the Walled City. The area is known as a tourist zone and is English-friendly, safe, and has all of the shopping, restaurants, and bars you can handle. All wedding-related events are under a 15 min. walk from anywhere within the Walled City.  PRO TIP: Be sure your Airbnb has air conditioning!

GETTING TO THE HOTEL/ AIRBNB

The Walled City is only a 15 min. drive from the airport. There will be plenty of taxis lined up outside (it should cost about 20,000 pesos or $7 USD) - confirm this with your driver in advance).
