What is the Shuttle schedule?

Answer

Shuttles will pick up guests at Hampton Inn and Hilton Garden Inn at 4:30 PM and depart at 4:40 PM. They will arrive at Valley Road Vineyards by 5:15 PM, and the ceremony will begin at 5:30 PM. Return shuttles will leave the venue at 10:15 PM and are scheduled to arrive back at the hotels around 10:50 PM. Even if you’re staying at a different hotel or an Airbnb, you’re welcome to ride the bus — we’d love for everyone to travel safely together! Please don’t rely on Uber or Lyft for transportation to or from the venue, as availability in the area is limited.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal attire. Men can wear suits and ties, and women can wear dresses or nice pants/blouses.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Your wedding invitation will have information on your option to bring a plus one.

Are children allowed at the wedding?

Answer

We have had to limit it to the names clearly listed on your save the date/invitation.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The venue has a large parking area on-site where guests may park free of charge. You can also leave your car there overnight if needed. Please feel free to use the shuttles provided though.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony is planned to take place outside. In the case of bad weather, the ceremony will take place indoors inside the reception space.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please let Anne Kelly or Scott know if you have any food allergies!

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

The RSVP deadline is April 14th. Please let us know whether or not you will be able to attend by this date so that we can report the final headcount to our vendors . If you need to change your RSVP after April 14th or are not able to RSVP by that date, please reach out to us directly.

Do you have hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have room blocks at two Charlottesville hotels. Please see the travel tab on our wedding website for more information.

Question

When is the hotel room reservation deadline?

Answer

In order to ensure you get a hotel room in the block, reservations need to be made by 4/21/25 for the Hampton Inn or by 4/23/25 for the Hilton Garden Inn. After those dates, room availability is not guaranteed.
