Manhan Rail Trail
This is a beautiful path that's great for a walk or a bike ride. It is part of a rail system that connects Northampton, Amherst, Easthampton, Hadley, Belchertown, Florence, Southampton, and Williamsburg. There are many entrances to the trail. Ask the hotel front desk for the best place to hop on from where you are. This is a half-hour drive away in Amherst, but it's definitely worth checking out her home and collection for those of you who have more time in the area.

Also a half-hour trek but a beautiful museum at Amherst College, deserving of a visit.
