Love Story and Engagement
Anne reached out to her cousin, Brad, when moving to Charlotte. As it turns out, Anne lived in the same apartment building as Brad and his friends. Dan was a part of this friend group and had known Brad for three years. After many Saturdays watching the Georgia Bulldogs and nights at the Union, Anne and Dan hit it off and started dating in December 2019.
Fast forward five years and Dan & Anne went to her Grandma’s for what she thought was brunch with her cousin. Dan and Anne’s family created a story to get Anne to the dock. When they walked down, Dan had a photo book of pictures (many of which you can find below). They spent time going through all their memories while Anne kept asking, “What’s going on?” and “Are you proposing?” After they got to the end of the book, Dan got on one knee and asked Anne to marry him. They spent the rest of the day surprised by loved ones celebrating them and going to all their favorite spots in Charlotte.
