Please RSVP by 10/1/23 if at all possible for our food counts. If you need to update your RSVP after that date, just reach out to us so that we can make sure to account for any changes.
Guests are encouraged to dress for an elegant garden party. This would include dresses and collared shirts. Suits and ties are not required but would fit in perfectly. Our wedding will have an autumn color palette with an emphasis on desaturated fall colors. We'd love for you to incorporate the color palette into your attire. Note that the courtyard of the Wildflower Center is cobblestone, so plan footwear appropriately. In addition, after sunset it will likely be fairly cool and much of the event is planned to be outdoors, so a jacket is recommended.
November in Austin is typically very pleasant. After sunset it may be as low as 50 degrees and in the 80s during the day. We recommend checking the weather before coming into town since it can vary year to year. Much of the event will be after sunset, so dress appropriately.
Our goal is to keep our wedding as safe as possible. Weather allowing, most of our wedding will be outside in the beautiful scenery of the Wildflower Center. Dancing will be done in the Great Hall, with the large doors open. We ask that all our guests be up to date on their vaccinations if at all possible. If anything changes, we will provide updates as soon as we are able.
The Wildflower Center has a number of cobblestone and natural surfaces. The courtyard where we are planning to have the reception has stairs and a ramp, but is cobblestone. Our intended ceremony site has stairs, but no ramp. We will move through four spaces over the course of the evening. If you have accessibility concerns, please feel free to reach out and we can answer any questions and try our best to make accommodations.
Any children of family members and out of town guests are welcome as well as infants of local guests. If you have a question or concern about this policy or your child, feel free to reach out!
