A laid-back beacfront vibe with tiki bars. It's 5.1 miles from John Pennekamp State Park. -Enjoy a slice of the Island at The Blond Giraffe world famous, Key Lime Pie Factory (Tavernier, Mile Marker 92.2) The Blond Giraffe has a wonderful outdoor seating area, with tables and chairs in the shade of giant trees -Mile Marker 88-beachfront tradition to stop off and enjoy the waterfront scenery, delicious drinks and live music
-Morada Bay (Islamorada, Mile Marker 81.6) White sandy beaches, palm trees, crystal clear water, the setting is awesome and the food and drinks are just as good -Florida Keys Brewing Company located in Islamorada at Mile Marker 81.6. A great spot for local craft beer -Feed a Tarpon and Robbie's (Islamorada, Mile Marker 77.5) Enormous Bloody Mary's but be warned of the pelicans. ust as a side note, Islamorada is known as the “sport fishing capital of the world.” Robbie’s also offers numerous fishing excursions if you are interested -No Name Pub (Big PIne Key, 30813 Watson Blvd) This is the coolest bar in the Florida Keys, at least out of the ones we visited. Located in what feels like the middle of nowhere on Big Pine Key, this pub has the slogan, “a nice place if you can find it.” Try to spot the Key Deer, a tiny sized endangered deerthat call Big Pine Key home -You're on the Home Stretch, get on down to key west!

The park, which now covers a total of 54 acres, is a National Historic Landmark that played a significant role in Florida's early development. Tours of the park are avaible at 11am daily. The Fort also had pristine beaches offering both sun and shade as well as picnic tables and grills
Located in a historic 17th century building, the Eaton Street Seafood Market offers some of the freshest seafood in the keys. Inside, large glass cases displays fresh, locally caught fish, such as pounds of stone crab, whole mahi mahi, and Key West pink shrimp, as well as housemade sauces. The made-to-order lunch menu includes everything from lobster rolls to smoked fish dip to lobster rolls!
Key West is also rumored to be one of the most haunted cities in America. Sloan's Key West Ghost Hunt is a more intimate, interactive tour that tells stories of a maid who hung herself from a rooftop and a man who kept his mistress “alive” for decades. You’ll search for paranormal activity in haunted homes, theatres, and restaurants, and also hit the Key West Cemetery, a 170-year-old maze of above-ground coffins and statues.
The Gen. Hoyt S. Vandenberg was a World War II-era transport ship, sunk in 2009 about 7 miles off the coast of Key West. It stands 10 stories high, it's under 140 feet of water, so extensive exploration is probably best left to experienced divers. But there are many dive companies that will take you on less experienced sites off the coast as well.
Pepe's Cafe is a wood-paneled bar that dates back to 1909 was know to be one of Hemingway's favorite watering holes. It’s also a complete unpretentious place to get a drink and some seafood that embraces its dive bar legacy
Who's ready for a quick climb?! The Key West Lighthouse was built in 1825 to help the many ships entering the port avoid the hazardous reefs. Today, you can climb the 88 iron steps to the top of the tower for a fabulous seaview at what the lighthouse keepers watched over for more than 120 years. Tour the grounds to see the Keeper’s Quarters which have been restored to their original charm and view the displays of nautical artifacts, antique furnishings, maps and vintage photos.
