What is the best way to get to the hotels from the airport?

Answer

**We HIGHLY encourage ALL guests to Uber! Daily valet at the hotels is $50 a night, so we encourage you to Uber instead of renting a car.

What is the wedding attire?

Answer

Black Tie (We recommend block heels for women and cowboy boots for men- we will be on a ranch)

How do I get to the reception/ceremony on Saturday?

Answer

We are taking a TRAIN! We encourage all guests to arrive to the train station early (between 2:45pm-3:00pm). We will depart promptly at 3:20pm for the ceremony. This is the only form of transportation to the wedding! The train station is a 2 minute walk from the Hotel Californian and the Riviera Beach House!

Will the wedding take place indoors or outside?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail will take place outside. Dinner and dancing will be in an enclosed tent. In September, Santa Barbara weather averages from 79 to 59 degrees, so please be mindful of this. If you tend to get cold easily, we recommend bringing a wrap!

Where should I stay in Santa Barbara?

Answer

We have reserved a room block at the Riviera Beach House! This hotel is walkable to the beach, restaurants, and all wedding events throughout the weekend. We encourage everyone to stay there.

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

We recommend flying into SBA (Santa Barbara Airport). It is 14-15 minutes away from the hotels.

Do you recommend getting a rental car for the weekend?

Answer

No, we suggest taking an uber/lyft from the airport as all transportation for the wedding weekend will be provided for guests. Everything else is walkable (the beach, restaurants, etc.).

What is the attire for Friday night (Rehearsal Dinner/Welcome Party)?

Answer

It is cocktail attire (jacket, no tie). Feel free to dress in bright, fun colors! Short dresses are totally acceptable :)
