Middle Child
Two locations, Fishtown and South Philly. South Philly has the best sandwiches maybe ever. The Shopsin Club is our absolute favorite. Definitely order ahead. Fishtown location is good for a cocktail and a fancier bite. Vibe is immaculate.
Angelo's Pizzeria
Probably the best philly cheesesteak/hoagie around. Pizza is also great. Make sure to call ahead to place your order. Be forewarned you may have to dial many times. Once we had to dial 50 times before getting through, but it was worth it!
Locust Bar/Club
We went here on our first date! Don't go here unless you love small dive bars that allow smoking indoors.
Cartesian Brewing
Shameless plug for our friends' brewery - shoutout Evan and Caroline! If you make it here be sure to check out all the shops and bars on East Passyunk.
