Things To Do

Welcome to Milwaukee! If you're wondering how to spend your downtime while in town, we've highlighted a few crowd-pleasing spots below, but for a more comprehensive list of recs and favs, check out our Milwaukee Google Map: https://maps.app.goo.gl/ii8S4RXqHGVDCzJo7

Lakefront Brewery

1872 N Commerce St, Milwaukee, WI 53212

A local brewery right on the river. Good beer (and n/a options!), good food, and family-friendly. Best brewery tour in the city.

Discourse Coffee

158 S Barclay, Milwaukee, WI 53204

A sort-of historic site: we met while working in this space back when it was a Stone Creek Coffee in 2017. Now, it's Discourse Coffee. Creative, well-crafted coffee drinks, pastries, and cocktails. A bit fancy and service tends to be slower, so if you're stopping by, prepare to hang out a bit.

Downtown Books Bought & Sold

624 N Broadway, Milwaukee, WI 53202

Jam-packed used bookstore.

Milwaukee Art Museum

700 N Art Museum Dr., Milwaukee, WI 53202

Milwaukee Public Market

400 N Water St, Milwaukee, WI 53202

A market with all sorts of food options and little kiosks - something for everyone. It's right in the Third Ward and, if the weather agrees, we recommend taking some time to walk around, window shop, and enjoy the area.

Wolski's Tavern

1836 N Pulaski St, Milwaukee, WI 53202

A good ol' neighborhood bar. Free popcorn. Stay 'til bar close and get a sticker.
