Full Moon Resort has a variety of houses and cabins. Accommodation styles vary from rooms with shared-hall bathrooms, rooms with private bathrooms, shared cottages, and private cabins. Because rooms vary in style, we will assign the guest rooms. It's important to us to match you in the most appropriate accommodation. Room details and pricing options available at Full Moon are detailed below. Please let us know on your RSVP which tiers you would be comfortable with us placing you in. Once you've RSVPed and we've placed you in a room, Full Moon will contact someone in your room via email to describe your guest package and finalize booking your accommodation after September 10th. There is no need to contact Full Moon prior to September 10th to book a room. Please indicate your top two room preferences in your RSVP form. Prices are per room per night and assume double occupancies. Includes breakfasts and taxes/fees. Tier 1: ($190-$225/night) Quaint rooms w/ shared hallway single-person bathrooms. Most rooms have their own sink and mirror. Think sharing a house with friends and family. We'll try to place friends and family together. For those staying on-site at Full Moon Resort, your meals are included in the price of your room. Those staying off-site can choose to join breakfast and lunches at the resort in their RSVP form. All meals at Full Moon are $19.50/adult or $11.50/child. All other times, there is a beverage vending machine available in the billiard room; however, we encourage our guests to bring their own snacks and non-alcoholic beverages for those times that there will be no services available, as the closest store is about 20 minutes away.
Of course! We want you to feel comfortable where you stay. Still feel free to hang out at Full Moon. In terms of meals, you can sign up in your RSVP to eat breakfast and lunch with everyone else in the Full Moon cafe. Prices for each meal are $19.50/person/meal or $11.50 for children under 12 years old. Unfortunately, staying off-site means that you will have to leave Full Moon by 10 pm on Saturday and not attend the After Party due to Full Moon policy. Do note that staying off-site means you are responsible for all transportation. Ubers are not common in the area so please plan accordingly and consider a designated driver.
Although cell reception can be spotty in the area, there is Wi-Fi calling capability available throughout Full Moon Resort, no password required. Most cell phones have Wi-Fi calling capability. Or there are apps that you can download that use Wi-Fi for calling and messaging. Additionally, complimentary phone service for all calls within the U.S. is available at all times at the Inn.
Full Moon Resort is nestled in the rustic Catskill Mountains. Full Moon has hiking trails nearby and three large fields on the grounds. If you’re interested in taking advantage of these options, please feel free to bring your own gear with you. (hiking boots, sneakers, sunscreen, Frisbee, sports gear, bocce ball set, etc.) Also, the evenings can be chilly, so bring a warm jacket or sweater. • Bathrobe/slippers (some guest rooms have shared/hall baths) • Toiletries/medicine; the Front Desk has emergency and basic medical equipment (bandaids, tylenol, etc) but the nearest pharmacy is approximately 20 minutes from Full Moon. • Bug spray & Sunscreen • Flashlight or headlamp (It gets dark in the country) • Umbrella or raincoat (just in case)
Full moon is a rustic lodging facility that provides: • Bath towels • Bed linens • Shampoo and soap • Complimentary teas and coffee in the Valley View House (Main Inn) from the time breakfast is served until the last meal of the day is served • Complimentary wireless Internet • Free long-distance phone service from the Valley View House. Please note: cell phones do not work at Full Moon – There are no cell phone towers in this part of the Forest Preserve. Housekeeping services are not provided during the course of the stay. Extra towels may be obtained from the Front Desk as needed.
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at Full Moon. Please make other arrangements for your furry friends.
We've got your drinks covered during all wedding events. Personal alcohol is allowed in the rooms but not allowed in public areas due to State Liquor Laws.
All buildings are non-smoking. However, feel free to take a nice walk away from the crowd and smoke. In addition, please do not light candles, incense, or any combustible materials in guest rooms.
If your invitation indicates that you can bring a guest then yes, please do! If not, and you have someone special in your life that you'd really love to bring along, then feel free to reach out and we'll see what we can do.
Personal belongings must be removed from the facility at check out. Full Moon cannot accept responsibility for belongings left behind.
During business hours the best number to reach guests at Full Moon is (845) 254 - 5117 (the front desk number). After hours all calls roll over to our answering service. Emergency messages will be sent to Full Moon Resort's Managers whom will relay the message to you in a timely manner. You can also email, text or call through the WiFi if your cell phone has this capability.
